A Day In My Life

Hey, guys! Today is Monday! And I wanted to make a Day In My Life blog post. I have seen many videos on this subject, but not so many blog posts. So I decided that I would show you guys an average day in my life. So what you will see today is behind the scenes of making crafts, and blogging. So without further adieu....Let get into....A Day In My Life.

So my morning starts with me waking up, and getting breakfast. For today's morning, I ate toasted bagels with cream cheese. Also, my absolute favorite thing to drink in the morning is hot chocolate. Whether winter or summer, you will always find me drinking hot chocolate.

After breakfast, I get ready for the day. Which means I have to get dressed and ready for school. My go to outfit is a colorful T-shirt and a short skirt or shorts.
When School is finally over, I can head over to DIY Crafts Studio(a.k.a my room) and work on some crafts for you guys! I try to make all of the pictures perfect.  :)

After I finish with filming and making crafts, I head over to my laptop to edit and upload the pictures. Then I start on a blog post, like the one your reading now!

For lunch, I had burritos, chips, and a summery salad. Also for my drink I had lemonade! And let me tell you it was delicious!
After lunch, school, and blogging, I have soccer! So throwing on my jersey and cleats I have to drive over to my soccer practice.
After soccer, I am so tired and a bit grumpy. My little dachshund(my dog), Rosie helps to cheer me up! I love spending time with my many pets.
After showering and eating dinner, one of my favorite things to do is to get comfy and read a good book.
Around 9:30 to 10:00 pm I go to bed.
Lights Out!

Thank you so much for coming along with me on my day! I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments if you would like to see more posts like this and I will be sure to make that happen! Even though this took a lot of work to make this post it was a lot of fun! Also, I would just like to thank all of you for giving this blog 5,000 views! Also, I would like to mention that this is DIY Crafts 70th post! Have a super special day, and I'll see you on Monday!

My BTS Favorites

Hey guys! Today's Monday and I am going to show you my Back To School Favorites! When I go back to school, school is usually boring. So I made a list of things that I like about Back To School. I hope you enjoy this post! And let me know in the comments if you would like to see more posts like this! So without further adieu lets get started!

Number 1: Music!
I love to play music! The instrument I play is the piano. But one thing I like to do is play around with my violin since I don't really know how to play it yet.
Number 2: Sports!
My favorite sport to play has to be Soccer!
During the school year I absolutely love to play sports!
 Number 3: Reading!
When I get a good book to read I can't put it down! So reading has to be on my favorites list!

Number 4: Art!
You probably know I love art because art comes in different ways like, music, crafts, drawing, and painting! But my favorite thing to draw right now is cupcakes!

And those are some of my Back to School favorites! I hope you enjoyed this weeks post! And I challenge all of you to think of your favorite things to do in the school year! Have a great day I'll see you next Monday!

Watermelon Magnets

Hey guys! Today's Monday, and I am going to show you how to make these super cute DIY watermelon magnets! I love them so much! So without further adieu let's get started!
So first we are going to start with the large watermelon magnet, then next I will show you how to make the small watermelon magnets.

Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
White thin card-stock, magnet strips, pink paper, green paper, a pen, scissors, and glue.
Step 2:
Cut a half of a circle out of your card-stock, then your pink paper. Then cut a half of an smaller oval out of the green.
Step 3:
Glue your green to the bottom of your pink. Then take your black pen and draw little black seeds on the pink part, as shown in the picture. Now glue your watermelon to your card-stock piece.
Step 4:
Glue your magnet to the back of you watermelon. I used regular glue but you may use a stronger glue if you want it to last longer.

Step 5:
Let your glue dry completely before using your magnet. And your done!

Now here is how to make the mini watermelon magnets:

Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
White thin card-stock, green and pink paint, glue, scissors, and magnet strips.

Step 2:
Cut out half ovals out of your card-stock. Then take your green paint and start by painting the bottom. Take your pink and paint the top.
Step 3:
Let your paint dry completely. Then take your black pen, and draw little seeds on the pink part. Glue your magnets to the backs of your watermelons.
Step 4:
Let your glue dry completely. And your done! Now you can hang up all your watermelon magnets on your refrigerator or anything medal!

And that is how you make them! Let me know if you try out this craft, in the comments! I absolutely loved making this for you guys and I hope you will love it too! Have a great day and I'll see you on Monday! -BloggerGirl

DIY Porthole

Hey guys! Monday is here and I am going to show you how to make this cute ship window or it is called a porthole. This is a great decor piece for any room in your house. A great idea is to make a little reading nook and hang it up there. So let's get started on making this porthole!

Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
A circle clock (or a circle shaped frame), 3 shades of blue, 2 pieces of paper (or 1 very large sheet of paper), a paint brush, a pencil, and a pair of scissors.

Step 2:
Take your paper, your scissors and the circle paper that is usually in your frame or old clock.  Trace that circle on to your paper so that it is the same size. Cut out your circle.

Step 3:
Take your paints and circle cut out paper and start off painting dark blue at the bottom and keep painting lighter colored blues as you go up. Stop when you get half way. This will be our ocean of our porthole.

Step 4:
Let your paint dry completely before placing into your frame. And your done! Hang onto the wall or place it onto a shelf and you will feel as if you are on a ship out at sea looking out the porthole.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know if you make this craft because it always makes my day when I find out someone tried out one of my crafts! Let me know in the comments what you would like to see next and I will do my best to make it happen! Have a great day and I'll see you next Monday! -BloggerGirl
