What's In My Bag

Hey guys! Today is Monday and for today's post I wanted to make a post about what's in my bag that I usually carry around with me. I don't carry very much in my bag so this post is going to be bit shorter then usual. Also make sure to stay to the end of this post for a sneak peek into next week's post! So without further adieu......Let's get into it!

First I always have my sunglasses with me, because you never know when the sun might show up! So sunglasses are a must have in my bag. Second I have my ipod nano (mp3 player) and earphones with me because I love listening to music on the go.

Third, I have my notepad and my pen. You might have seen this notepad in a back to school haul I did back in September or August. (If you remember seeing it comment below "BTS!") And last but not least I have my hand-sanitize in the scent Paris from bath and body works. Because you never know when you might need your hands clean!
And those are the things I have in my bag to show you! As I said before I don't carry very much in my bag. Let me know what Winter posts you would like me to do because the start of my Winter posts start next week!! And I am super excited! And now for the sneak peek......
The title of next week's post is.....DIY Snow Flake Decor!
Lol what do you think? Are you excited for next weeks post or not? Let me know in the comments! Have a great day and I see you on Monday! -BloggerGirl

Updates

Hey guys! Today's Monday and for today's post I am sharing with you some updates. The last updates post I did was in September so I thought I would make another one to update you guys on some things. So without further adieu lets get started.

  • Blog name change. Some of you might have noticed but I changed this blog's name from DIY Crafts...to...DIY Crafts + Life Style. Since I have been doing a lot of Life style blogging lately I thought that I would add Life Style blogging onto this blog too. But don't worry I will still be doing DIY Crafts.

  • Almost to 6,000 views! I am super excited that we have almost reached 6,000 views on this blog! I know,I know every time I reach another 1,000 views on my blog I get excited. But I just want to let you know that I am thankful for every single view this blog gets.

    • Winter posts coming soon. Next month on December 5th I will be starting my winter posts! Yay I'm so excited! I love the winter time and I think it will be a lot of fun to make winter posts. So watch out for that in December!

And those are the updates I wanted to share with you! I hope you enjoyed today's post! Let me know in the comments what Winter posts you would like to see me do and I will do my best to make it happen! Love ya! Have a great day and I'll see you on Monday!

    My Outfit Of The Day

Hey, guys! Today is Monday and for today's post I wanted to share with you guys my outfit of the day. Basically what I wore today. I got this idea from one of my great friends BloggerA. She started a series on her blog where she is sharing an outfit of the day each week. I thought her idea was great, so I decided I would try one of these posts out for you guys and see how you like it. I will leave a link at the end of this post on where you can find BloggerA's blog and see her Outfit Of The Day series! I am also going to leave links to where you can by all of these clothing items online so that you can recreate this outfit if you want to.So without further adieu....Let's get started!

Okay, the first thing of my outfit is my shoes! They are from Ardene! These are one of my favorite pairs of shoes! They are super cute and stylish!
And here is the link if you would like to buy shoes like these online: http://www.ardene.com/en/shoes/lace-up-sneakers-7.html
Second is my skirt. For this outfit, I wore a plain black skirt. I don't remember where I got this but you can find basic black skirts almost anywhere. I thought this would look good with my outfit.

Third, I paired this outfit with a cute shirt from Gucci. It is a dark colored shirt that goes perfectly with fall. It is super comfortable! One of my favorite casual shirts.
Here is the link to their website where you can find shirts like this: gucci.com

And last but not least to finish off my outfit, I have this hoodie/jacket from Roxy. It is really comfortable and warm. I would highly suggest wearing a sweater or hoodie this fall season!
Here is the link where you can buy a hoodie like this one: http://www.roxy.com/
And that is my outfit of the day! I hope you enjoyed today's post! Let me know in the comments what you would like to see next and I will do my best to make it happen! If you have any questions let me know! And no this post was not sponsored. I love all of these brands clothes and I just wanted to share them with you. Have a great day and I'll see you on Monday!

    DIY Re-Designed Shirt

Hey guys! Today's Monday! Today I wanted to show you how you can take an old shirt and re-design it so it looks like new! I had a lot of fun doing this to a bunch of shirts that needed re-designing desperately! So I hope you enjoy! So without any further adieu....Let's get started!

    Step 1:
    Gather your supplies:
A old T-shirt, fabric paint, a paint brush, and a pair of sewing scissors.
    Step 2:
I am starting by making my shirt a V-neck. So how I did this is I cut a triangle going downwards at the collar. As shown in the picture.
    Step 3:
Taking your paint, paint a heart in the middle of the shirt. Bring the painting strokes going inward.
    Step 4:
Let your shirt dry COMPLETELY before trying it on. (And yes my younger sister tried it on for the picture.)
And that's it! I really hope you enjoyed today's post and I hope you will try out this DIY too! Let me know in the comments what kind of posts you would like to see from me next and I will do my best to make it happen! Have a great day and I'll see you on Monday! -BloggerGirl
