DIY Snowflake Decor

Hey guys! Today is Monday, and also the official start of my Winter posts! Yay! :)
So for today's post I will be showing you guys how to make these really simple snowflakes and then show you how you can decorate with them! (And if you saw the last post then you probably already knew what today's post was going to be about.) So without further adieu...Let's get started!

How to make a paper snowflake:
Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
A pair of scissors, and a square sheet of paper.
Step 2:
Start by folding your paper into a triangle. Then fold that triangle into a smaller triangle.
Take your scissors and cut triangles going up each side. (As shown in the picture.)
Step 3:
Finish cutting by cutting triangles on the last side of your triangle. (Sorry my instructions are a little confusing but please look at the pictures for more information.)
Step 4:
Finish off your snowflake by unfolding it. And now you have a beautiful snowflake. And you can do any kind of design because snowflakes are all different.

How to decorate with them:

Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
Thumb tacks, and a bunch of paper snowflakes.

Step 2:
A way you can hang your snowflakes is to tack them to your wall, cork board, or closet.
I love hanging them in patterns but you can decide how you want to hang them.

Step 3:
Or you could use your snowflakes to put underneath jars or mugs. And it will look really cute!

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed today's post! Come back for next weeks post! Let me know in the comments what you think about today's post! (Also could you guys write in the comments happy birthday  because it is my brother's birthday today! :) HAVE A GREAT DAY and I'll see you on Monday! -BloggerGirl
