DIY New Years Party Table

Hey guys! Today is Monday and for today's post I am going to be showing you some idea's on how to DIY a New Year's party table! Wow I can't believe 2017 is so close! In less then a week it will be officially 2017!!! :) But I decided that I would show you this idea in case you wanted to have a party and you wanted to DIY everything! I am not having a party but this is great for just having with your family too! So without any further adieu....Let's get started!

First off let's start with the decor! So what I did first is I cut out 2017 in paper and colored it. But I would highly recommend already colored paper.

Then I cut out piece's of paper and wrote: HAPPY NEW YEAR in colorful letters.

Now to drinks! I just went the super simple route and served water! But definitely put out what drinks you like!

FOOD! Yay now we get to do the fun part! So for the first treat I cut up banana pieces and dipped them in chocolate and froze them. Then about after half an hour it should be ready.

The second treat I made was peanutbutter cookies. But make sure if you are making this for a party that no one is allergic to peanuts.

And last but not least...I popped some popcorn and put it in this cute bowl. :)

And your done!! Yay! I hope you enjoyed today's post! And next weeks post will be next year!! Ahh! Let me know in the comments what you think I should post for next week! Have a great day and I'll see you NEXT YEAR!! <3 -BloggerGirl

DIY Easy Hot Chocolate

Hey, guys! Welcome to my second winter post! :) Today is Monday and for today's post, I am going to show you how to make the best hot chocolate ever! (Just kidding I'm sure there is a better hot chocolate in the world that would top this. But this is the best hot chocolate I know. )
So without any further adieu......Let's get started!

So to start off I melted one Tablespoon of chocolate in a 1/2 cup of water. Then I added milk.(But you can always use a hot-chocolate package instead.) After you have stirred up your hot chocolate, get out your other ingredients: 1 crushed candy cane, marshmallows(as many as you desire), and 1/3 cup of vanilla ice cream.

Start off by taking your ice cream and adding it to your hot chocolate. DO NOT STIR!

Second, add your marshmallows in a pile on top of your ice cream. It is okay if your ice cream sinks a little.

Lastly, sprinkle your crushed candy cane on top. And now you're ready to drink it! I would definitely recommend making this for your friends and family! :)
Yay! Now you know how to make my favorite hot chocolate! Let me know in the comments what winter posts you would like to see next! Remember to come back next week for another post! Have a great day and I'll see you on Monday! -BloggerGirl

DIY Snowflake Decor

Hey guys! Today is Monday, and also the official start of my Winter posts! Yay! :)
So for today's post I will be showing you guys how to make these really simple snowflakes and then show you how you can decorate with them! (And if you saw the last post then you probably already knew what today's post was going to be about.) So without further adieu...Let's get started!

How to make a paper snowflake:
Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
A pair of scissors, and a square sheet of paper.
Step 2:
Start by folding your paper into a triangle. Then fold that triangle into a smaller triangle.
Take your scissors and cut triangles going up each side. (As shown in the picture.)
Step 3:
Finish cutting by cutting triangles on the last side of your triangle. (Sorry my instructions are a little confusing but please look at the pictures for more information.)
Step 4:
Finish off your snowflake by unfolding it. And now you have a beautiful snowflake. And you can do any kind of design because snowflakes are all different.

How to decorate with them:

Step 1:
Gather your supplies:
Thumb tacks, and a bunch of paper snowflakes.

Step 2:
A way you can hang your snowflakes is to tack them to your wall, cork board, or closet.
I love hanging them in patterns but you can decide how you want to hang them.

Step 3:
Or you could use your snowflakes to put underneath jars or mugs. And it will look really cute!

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed today's post! Come back for next weeks post! Let me know in the comments what you think about today's post! (Also could you guys write in the comments happy birthday  because it is my brother's birthday today! :) HAVE A GREAT DAY and I'll see you on Monday! -BloggerGirl
